Signace engaged TapRoot  to draw up a plan for their offices with a focus on security, data redundancy and digital transformation. Following a consultation we submitted our plan of action, this included a new file server featuring a robust RAID array, configuration of backup schedules, upgrade of office PCs to Windows 10 and installation of an uninterruptible power supply to protect the new server. We also procured various pieces of kit to help increase efficiency in the office including triple monitor setups where necessary.

As part of the project we wrote powerful scripts to schedule backups for Signace’s business critical data. We believe it’s important for businesses to have the peace of mind that their data is adequately protected. Taking it one step further we formulated a disaster recovery plan which would allow Signace to continue working in the event  of server failure, ransomware attacks and more.
